Album Drop Tuesday: Beyonce, Rick Ross, Iggy Azalea, Pitbull, and Eminem & Friends

A lot of your favorite artists are releasing and re-releasing hit albums today, November 24th, 2014. King Bey is giving us a second dose of Beyonce, Eminem and his crew have put together a compilation album and Pitbull is taking us around the world.

Her majesty Queen Bey has re-released the incomoparable piece of work Beyonce: Platinum Edition. The new version of the visual album will feature two new songs, ‘7/11’ and ‘Ring Off,’ and four remixes of our favorite tracks including ‘Flawless’ with Nicki Minaj. In the 4-disc boxed set of the album, Beyonce has blessed us with the full album,  a DVD with all 17 music videos, a live performance from The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, and a mini 2015 calendar. I know you already have the album, but I promise this platinum edition is what you need in your life!

Being Pitbull’s eighth studio album, Globalization keeps the energy coming from our Latin brother. ‘Fireball’ is the hot single from this album and has been topping charts for a while, only an indication of what the album will be like. Chris Brown, Jennifer Lopez and Jason Derulo are just a few friends of Pitbull that are featured on the album. Pitbull has always kept busy with hosting awards shows and making appearances as the fun-good time guy he is and his personality is evident in all of his music. Be sure to cop his new album.

Reclassified is Iggy Azalea’s re-issue of her debut album The New Classic. The album has six brand new songs with features from Jennifer Hudson, Ellie Goulding, and MO. ‘Black Widow’ with Rita Ora and ‘Beg For It’ with MO are the two top singles from the album. Based off their popularity, Reclassified should outdo Iggy’s debut album just fine.

Eminem has been teasing Shady XV for the past few months and now it’s finally hear, pun intended. This new album is a compilation of records of everyone listed on the Shady roster including (but not limited to) Slaughterhouse, YelaWolf, and D12. Being the executive producer of the album, Slim Shady is the source or feature on every song on the 2-disc compilation except one. ‘Guts Over Fear’ is the first single from Eminem featuring Sia, and is also found on the soundtrack for ‘The Equalizer’ with Denzel Washington. ‘Detroit Vs. Everybody’ is the unofficial anthem of the city and Em managed to get the most notable artists from Detroit together for this track. This album has hit after hit and is sure to climb the charts quickly.

Our weight loss bawse, Mr. Rick Ross’ Hood Billionaire hit shelves today as well. Ross’ new album has features from Timbaland, Migos, Project Pat and many others. The most popular single amongst the five released is his track featuring the soulful singing of K.Michelle, ‘If They Knew.’ Rick Ross’ past few albums have not been the best from him, but Hood Billionaire may be the piece of work to get him back on his game. And plus, the homie has been working out to get healthier for his fans and for himself. Go out and support the bawse.
